Role: Senior Planner

Project: Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works

Duration: 6 months

Contract conditions: NEC4 Option C

Assignment: Inside IR35

Working Location: Anticipated to be 3 days / week with the team, 2 days remote (Accomodation paid for)



Description: Early contractor involvement for the design and construct of wastewater plant improvements consisting of: piling, significant pipework installation of diameters 450mm > 1200mm, power and comms ducting, access roads, above ground tanks, utilising heavy civils temporary works, complete with infrastructure and inspection galleries, pump station building construction and fit out, cross site MEICA to all new elements, including test, commission and integration



The candidate will create an integrated programme utilising information from our design, process and supply chain partners, and will be responsible for monitoring the same.



The candidate needs to be an excellent communicator, who is able to take the lead with client interfaces, has strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual who has a collaborative approach with good attention to detail. Proven capability working on NEC3/4 contracts and extensive experience of P6. Operational civil engineering experience prior to moving into a planning role is also highly desired.



As expected with a senior planning role, identification of risk and early warning matters are an absolute, which will require communication with the commercial team to manage.



The programme is operated on P6, however other programme communication tools will also be required to be produced, predominately from the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

As this role is design and construct within the water industry environment, water industry experience is desirable, therefore this role could be ideal for a candidate who has experience within AMP7 or previous experience of wastewater plant upgrade and improvement works.
