Senior required for a leading national Civil Engineering company based in the Hertfordshire. They’re experts in all things Civil Engineering, such as creating flood defences, highways, bridges and residential and earthwork projects. Due to further project wins they are now require the highest calibre Senior Planner to help with their planning function in the region

The Role:
Provide senior planning expertise and supporting junior planners working on a prestigious civil engineering projects.
Establish effective control processes
Assist the project team, bid team, commercial, estimating team, procurement, risk, quality, engineering, temporary works as necessary
Establish the plan and document scope, develop project schedules and or preliminary cost estimates
Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements
About You
You will:
Have a demonstrable background in civil engineering planning
Have previous management experience
Experience of the NEC3 form of contract in planning
Have a strong understand of construction methods
Be competent in using P6
Have a site management background.
