Senior Planner required for a leading construction company based in the North West. They’re a global concern and experts in urban re generation, creating vibriant residential and commercial. Due to a large project win in Manchester they now require the highest calibre Planner/Senior Planner to head their planning function on this and other prestigious projects.

The Role

Preparation of design, procurement and construction programmes using Asta Powerproject for pre-qualifications, tenders and live projects.
Assume lead planner duties on projects when required.
Assist the Senior Estimator and Estimating Manager in the preparation of the overall bid as necessary
Prepare and review analytical programmes for a given project to be used within the tender submission
Attend and contribute to tender programmes meetings
Assist the Senior Estimator and Estimating Manager in the preparation of the overall bid as necessary.
Establish the plan and document scope, develop project schedules and or preliminary cost estimates
Make presentations to Senior Management& Clients as required.
Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting.
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements.


About You
You will:
Have a demonstrable background in construction planning
Have previous management experience
Have a strong understand of construction methods
Be competent in using planning software ASTA.
Have previous tender experience
Have a site management background.
Knowledge and practice in 3D/4D modelling would be an advantege.
