Senior planner required for a leading national and international Construction company based in Birmingham. They’re experts in building iconic buildings and are on many frameworks. Due to further project wins they now require the highest calibre senior planner to lead on education projects in the Midlands.
The Role,
Establish effective planning processes Developing, maintain and manage all programmes and other time related and production control deliverables.
Report on and monitor progress and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting.
The successful candidate for this role will:
Have a demonstrable background in construction planning as a senior planner or at planning manager level
Have experience of managing projects from a planning perspective
Have experience of the NEC3 and JCT forms of contract in planning
Experience of working on projects £80m+ in value
Have previous tender experience
Be competent in using planning software particularly ASTA P6,ASTA,Ms project
Have a site management/PM or similar background.
