Senior Planner required by an international contractor with firm roots in the North West. They provide construction services across many sectors and are renowned for investing in and rewarding their employees. Due to further framework wins the are now in a position to recruit a Senior Planner to join their expanding construction team and help develop their planning expertise. This role can be based out of Manchester or Liverpool.

The Role
Lead in the development of the baseline contract programme, covering all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. All elements to be fully logic linked and have a critical path.
To lead in the preparation of a construction (target) programme highlighting areas of improvement against the contract programme.
Prepare a tender event programme for the procurement of subcontractors incorporating design release and lead in activities.
Maintain administration of planning and programme documents to facilitate retrieval as required.
Utilising the common data environments
Provide all programme information as required support the management team.

About You:
Be planner ready to step up to a senior role or already be in senior planning role
Ideally have previous sector experience in Health and Education, Commercial, sectors
Experienced user of planning software
Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales.
Excellent skills of programme development and implementation of project monitoring techniques including baselining & resource modelling.
NEC project experience would be an advantage as would experience of 4d Modelling.
