Senior Level Architectural opening has become available to work for a well known, and very reputable Architectural Studio that has offices in the London and Gloucestershire areas.
The company has over 100 Architectural staff and due to the amount of work coming through as well as wanting to expand the team within this specialist sector, they are looking for a Sports and Leisure specialist. You could be an Architect with good Design capability or an individual who is more technically biased. All Senior level Architecture individuals will be considered and this person could be based within commutable distance to either the Gloucester or London offices.
You will bring along your wealth of experience within this sector and have the opportunity to work on an array of projects across Sports and Leisure projects including Swimming pools, Ice Rinks, Training Centres, Leisure Centres, Fitness Centres, Tennis centres, Sports academies, Sports Grounds and Pitches, Hotel Spas, University Sports Facilities, Cycling Facilities and more.
Depending on level, the skills required for this job role could include: Leading and delivering a variety of projects, being part of a large team on major projects, leading the design, detailing and specification of projects from inception to completion, producing and managing the project brief, fees and programme, liaising with clients and all members of the project team chair design and project meetings, providing strong project leadership and fully coordinating the design and project deliverables as well as having good Technical detailing knowledge and know how.
Key criteria for your application to stand out:- Relevant Architecture qualification and experience, proficient use of REVIT, excellent design and detailing skills aswell as knowledge of technical standards and building regulations. You will need to multitask, communicate well and work to tight deadlines as well as have excellent written, verbal communication and client facing skills, combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. You will also need to be motivated and work collaboratively with all team members. A full UK driving license is also required.
