• Experience managing and leading a design team.
• Capable of producing work both independently and as a team.

• Be self-driven to achieve deliverables of the highest calibre.
• A flexible attitude towards the types of job performed, the level of responsibility assigned, and the location of employment.
• Possess expertise working in multidisciplinary projects to coordinate with other disciplines.
• Produce designs in accordance with CDM guidelines.

• a solid understanding of the design and analysis of large steel and concrete buildings, as well as a practical knowledge of the most recent British and American codes and design standards.
• Experience working in the nuclear industry, especially with designing and implementing safety-related systems, components, and structures (highly encouraged, although amount of overall experience will also be taken into consideration).
• Designing with proper structural analysis software and adhering to local and national regulations.
• Have previous experience mentoring less experienced employees.
• Digital abilities or a desire to learn are essential.
