Our client is the leading independent firm of Development, Built Asset & Sustainability consultants. They place the wellbeing of people and the performance of buildings at the heart of everything they do and have offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh Guildford, Leeds, London, Manchester and Southampton.
Due to an increase in their current work load they are looking for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor, with a contract administration/project management focus, to play a key part in the commercial building surveying team providing high calibre professional advice to clients.
Primarily working within the commercial sector, undertaking all round building surveying work including the following, and with an opportunity to focus on project management:
o Contract Administration
o Monitoring
o Refurbishment and redevelopment projects
o Pre-acquisition surveys
o PPM
o Technical Due Diligence
o General building surveying commercial work e.g. Dilapidations
Skills/Qualifications
o MRICS with minimum 3 years PQE
o Degree in Building Surveying
o Excellent report writing skills
o Expertise in general building surveying i.e. contract administration and dilapidations
o Experience of working in a pro-active commercial environment
