We are currently working with a reputable Architectural consultancy of whom are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technician on a FT contract basis. As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role in their architectural projects, contributing your expertise and technical proficiency to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with large house builders, a proven track record as a senior architectural technician, and exceptional proficiency with Revit software.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the architectural team to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications for residential projects.
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and codes of practice throughout the design process.
Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, detailing elements such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Work closely with other stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architectural staff, ensuring the teams professional development and growth.
Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure construction aligns with design intent.
Utilize Revit software extensively to model and produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Architectural Technician, specifically working on residential projects.
Proven expertise with Revit software, showcasing proficiency in creating and managing complex BIM models.
Extensive experience collaborating with large house builders, understanding their specific requirements and standards.
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and industry best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Flexibility to work semi-remotely with occasional on-site visits to Bristol.
