Section Engineer - Shafts and Tunnels

My client, a major joint venture on HS2, has an urgent requirement for a Section Engineer to join their shafts team ASAP.

Reporting to the Site Agent the Section Engineer shall be responsible for the delivery of works packages for the shaft construction. This individual shall be responsible for the development and implementation of short term programmes, ensuring the delivery of a quality product to the end user, developing and implementing safe systems of work, developing excellent working relations with other members of the team, and supporting the commercial team with the management of the subcontract.

The idea candidate will of course have experience of Shaft Sinking and Reinforced Concrete Works, or at least experience on complex civil engineering projects.

They will also have proven experience and longevity working with a contractor as well as the right to work in the UK.
