Anderselite are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join one of the UK's leading Tier 1 contractors on a permanent basis in the West Midlands region.

Specifically, this will be working on several major highway's projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor junior Engineers ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
• Generate temporary works design briefs.
• Ensure quality records are maintained.
• Identify delays and propose potential mitigation measures.
• Review designs and raise any technical issues with the design team.
• Produce plans for your works section considering sequences, constraints, and interfaces.
• Understand the subcontract scope of works.
• Assist the Agent and commercial team in reviewing applications for payment from subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering or a qualification of a similar discipline
• Previous major highways / roads experience
• Relevant CSCS Card
• SMSTS (Desirable)
• Structural Steelwork experience
