Job Title - Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor role
Sector - Groundworks and RC Frame
Based - North Cheshire based office role with Manchester based sites
This is an office / site based role
Rates - £400 - £470 per day
The client
My client are a medium sized RC frame and groundworks contractor
Candidate essential skills
Must have experience working in a fast paced civil engineering /groundworks / RC frame environment
Must have ran several civil engineering projects simultaneously in a previous role
Compiled and administered NEC subcontract contracts previously
Excellent oral and written communication and organisational skills.
A team player with a positive attitude, outgoing, assertive, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
Duties
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Undertaking costs analysis
Work autonomously. With little supervision
Procurement
Agreement of the valuation of variations
Checking of sub-contractors interim and final account applications and preparation of associated payments
Payments
Cost value reconciliations
Monthly reporting
Assisting in establishing a clients requirements
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
Rates £350 - £410 per day
