Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor role - Civil Engineering site based role - West Cheshire
The role
A Quantity Surveyor role for a large, award winning Facade (externals) contractor.
The project
A multi million pound industrial facade project on the Wirral
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Dealing with a variety of forms of construction such as facades, externals etc
Develop client relationships
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor
Weekly site measures & site liaison for records of events
Costing and submitting variations
Keeping all commercial registers up to date
Performing Value management and cost control.
Subcontractor payment review and approval
Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) / all financial Reporting- Preparation of cost to complete- Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
Attend all commercial meetings internal/external relevant to multiple projects
Conduct site visits and carrying out surveying duties
Having effective commercial control of all allocated projects, including the provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the reporting timetable,
More specifically, cost value reconciliations, forecasts, continuous improvement documents, cash flow forecast and the commercial register.
Experience and Skills:
Some Quantity Surveying experience
NEC contract knowledge

£25,000 - £40,000,
