£40,000 - £50,000 plus car allowance and package
Anderselite are currently working with new, dynamic and forward-thinking residential developer who utilise modern methods of construction to provide green and affordable housing across the UK. The business is currently undergoing ambitious growth plans which will see them deliver up to 2,000 plots per year by 2025.
As part of their growth plans, they are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team where you will be eventually be responsible for up to multiple developments.
As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for making applications for payment, recording delay events, managing contra charges, sub-contract procurement, managing and agreeing variations, preparation of cost and value reconciliations and final account preparation
Key Duties
- Tendering sub-contract work packages
- Sub-contract comparisons
- Pre-start meetings
- Sub-contract payments
- Management of cost reviews and CVR file
- Identify and evaluate Client Variations and Additions
- Attending site meetings where necessary
The ideal candidate will with recent experience working with a residential developer and capable of running their own developments from inception through to final accounts. You will ideally hold a degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
