Quantity Surveyor – Manchester - NW Projects – Cost Consultancy – Hybrid

My client is a Cost Management Consultancy, based in the centre of Manchester. They specialise in a variety of sectors predominantly Healthcare but also involve themselves with Education, Residential and Commercial. They have continued to secure a number of short, medium and long term contracts across a variety of work sectors, which will offer a varied and interesting level of work portfolio for the right candidate.

Role
My client are looking to expand their team and are looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on pre and post contract quantity surveying services across a wide range of projects
• Attend design team and site progress meetings as required.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates,
• Preparation of tender documents.
• Preparation of cashflow forecasts and financial reports.
• Checking valuations

Candidate
• Qualified or working towards MRICS - Desirable
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar - Essential
• Professional experience within a consultancy environment - Desirable
• Previous healthcare experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of cost management / quantity surveying duties, with experience of NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Be capable of taking a project through from inception to completion
• Full UK Driving Licence
