Immediate opening for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - private owned housing developer

I am currently working with a leading privately owned housing developer who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This role will require you to oversee all surveying duties across multiple new build housing developments across the aire valley.  You will be responsible for controlling and managing the costs across these developments along with managing costs and controlling payments for all subcontractors and suppliers to these devlelopments.

Other duties will include calculating quantities for materials, preparing variations, valuations, final accounts and cost analysis.

In addition to this you will be required to place orders for materials and subcontractors when required while working closely with the site management teams.

This role requires someone who has previously worked for a volume housing developer and understands the pace of running multiple housing developments at any one time.

The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and be either a member of RICS or working toward chartership.

This is an immediate position with a well regarded and privately owned developer.
