Quality Assurance Engineer - major infrastructure project - Redcar - £350-£400 per day - 12 month contract (inside IR35)

Job Responsibilities
In this exciting Quality Engineer role, you’ll monitor onsite works quality through inspections and physical checks to ensure compliance with standards, drawings and specifications.
You’ll work closely with member of the construction team including suppliers and sub-contractors within area of responsibility, to ensure the required Safety/quality control standards are met and identify major deficiencies and non-conformances and recommend stopping the works where standards are significantly breached. You’ll also ensure Quality documentation and records are appropriately collated and maintain logs and registers to track quality trends.

Qualifications/experience required:-
Ideally ISO 9001 trained and achieved, or working towards a professional quality qualification.
HND or Degree in Construction or related subject and demonstrable knowledge and practical application of quality control activities.
CSCS card holder
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ideally have an ability to interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications.
