Join a pivotal endeavour in nuclear waste management as part of the Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) project at Sellafield Site.
+ Based in Warrington - WA3 6GR
+ £50 an hour PAYE
+ Initial 12 month contract
Key Responsibilities:
~Foster a culture of Nuclear and Personal Safety
~Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards, compliant with specifications
~Drive continuous improvements throughout the project lifecycle
~Promote and implement the Project Quality ~Management System and Joint Venture processes
~Engage with project construction and suppliers to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
~Proficient in nuclear fabrication specifications and material certification review
~Participate in audit activities both at supplier works and on-site
~Deliver timely, effective, and concise reporting
~Champion a disciplined approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of lifetime quality records
Qualifications:
~Experience in Sellafield/nuclear environments, preferably in a QA or QC function with progression into QA through lead audit and CQI membership
~Oversight of subcontractors, including compilation and review of lifetime records
~Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM
~Maintenance of package status and progress reporting, including issue resolution and collaboration with project and client QA/QC teams
~Certifications in CSWIP Welding Inspection 3.1 or 3.2, PCN Level II in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T, and Painting Inspection (Iccor level 2 or equivalent)
~Completion of NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training
~Proficiency in team collaboration and experience working within a joint venture environment
