Our client is looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a permanent role.

The client is one of the top housing construction companies in the industry.
The candidate will process and input Purchase Ledger Invoices and ensure supplier accounts are maintained and accurate at all times.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Input of Purchase Ledger Invoices in a timely manner
• Matching and coding invoices to Purchase Orders
• Manage Supplier Statement Reconciliations
• Liaise with external suppliers to resolve accounting queries
• Process GRN’s on the System
• Communicate with all departments the authorization matrix is followed
• Create monthly payment runs
• Review payment requests outside of the month-end run

Qualifications and experience:
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience working with COINS is desirable
• Literacy and numerical skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Delivers on time and target
• Self-motivated
• Strong organization and time management skills

Ideally, have experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced Accounts Department.

What we can offer:
• Salary- £24000-£25000 (depending on experience)
