Job Title - Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Projects - Residential Groundworks
Location - West Cheshire

The role
I am currently looking for a Project or Senior level Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential groundworks subcontractor in the civils/residential groundworks sector.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting residential groundworks projects in the North West area, with values ranging from £5m to £25m. You will be part of a dynamic team, reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with clients and subcontractors to ensure project success.

The candidate
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Residential groundworks experience - Essential
Experience on NEC Contracts is highly desirable, and previous experience with civils subcontractors is essential.

Duties
•Complete cost management of the project from inception to handover
• Prepare cost plans and measurements from pre-construction documents
• Manage clients expectations and ensure project success
• Work with external parties such as architects and engineers to ensure project specifications are understood
• Collaborate with subcontractors to manage costs and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget
