PROJECT MANAGER - New Build School Project
Salary: £60 - £70k per annum plus package
Location: Wigan
Type: Full Time - Permanent

Experienced Project Manager needed for a Tier 1 main contractor to oversee a school project in the NW region. You will be a key member of the senior team in ensuring project deliverability reporting directly to the Construction Director. The role is predominantly site-based and is the perfect role for a technically minded professional with credible experience overseeing new build schools to completion.

• Creating contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments, and other instructions for contract teams.
• Providing valuable input in regional management and planning meetings.
• Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for contracts.
• Contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.
• Managing contract files and records, including submission and archiving.
• Providing accurate data for monthly contract appraisals and other reports.
• Staying updated on current contract forms, acts, legislation (NEC / JCT), CDM Regulations, and Employment legislation.
• Effective planning and scheduling.
• Maintaining accurate records.

What we require from you?
• Degree qualified or equivalent in a Construction-related discipline (completed or in progress).
• Thorough understanding of all forms of contracts JCT, NEC
• Valid SMSTS and CSCS Card.
• Experience in overseeing multiple construction sites in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid UK drivers license.
• Competent using ASTA Power project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
