Project Manager - Pre construction

Manchester (Some Hybrid working available - Office based and soem site visits required)


Top tier construction firm specializing in large-scale projects within the justice sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the second stage tender for the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) framework. Recent Experience of MOJ or HMP projects would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager working on the MOJ second stage tender, you will be responsible for:

Logistics Planning: Efficiently plan and coordinate logistics for the project, ensuring seamless execution.

Resource Planning: Manage and optimize resources effectively to meet project requirements.

Programme Development: Collaborate with planners and Project Managers to develop a comprehensive project programme.

Surveys and Investigations: Arrange and oversee surveys, adhering to HMP security protocols and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement of early works packages, contributing to the success of the project.

Supervision: Provide supervision for survey and investigation works, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in MOJ & HMP refurbishment project environments.
Previous second stage tender experience is highly beneficial.
Capability to set up and manage projects with a value of £25m or more.
Tender/pre-construction experience is essential.
Flexibility in terms of seniority, considering candidates from site managers to bid managers.

CSCS White Card
First Aid & SMSTS

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
