Project Manager - Large Steel framed Project (£20 Million Industrial Unit)

We are a leading regional main contractor based in the Northwest, known for delivering excellence in construction projects across a variety of sectors. Our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation has cemented our reputation as a contractor of choice. We are currently embarking on an exciting £20 million steel-framed industrial unit project on the Wirral, featuring extensive piling and civil works, and managed under the NEC contract framework. To ensure the success of this project, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our team.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of this high-profile construction project. Your leadership will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the main point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover.
Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
Implement effective project management strategies, including risk management, schedule management, and budget control.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on site.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Administer the NEC form of contract, ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
Lead, motivate, and develop the project team, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, ideally with experience managing large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of steel frame construction, piling, and civil engineering works.
Familiarity with the NEC form of contract and experience managing contracts under this framework.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
A track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
A valid CSCS card, CITB SMSTS & First Aid qualification will be required for this role
