The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the successful delivery of our £70 million new build project in Grantham. This project involves extensive heavy earthworks, and your expertise in project management, leadership, and technical understanding will be pivotal in achieving project goals.


Lead the overall planning, execution, and control of the £70 million new build project, focusing on heavy earthworks.

Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies, including detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure effective financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to drive project progress and resolve challenges.

Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.

Monitor project performance, analyze data, and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Implement robust health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of safety on-site.

Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to the project.

Foster effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork among project team members, promoting a positive working environment.


Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably on large-scale construction projects with heavy earthworks.

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of earthworks, including grading, excavation, and soil stabilization.

Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.

Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

Relevant professional certifications and memberships are advantageous.
