Summary of Role:

Our team are currently recruiting for a Project Manager position for a that specialise in client led Assisted Living -Care facitities and H/A homes. There is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the company on a permanent basis to start within the immediate future. The initial project will begin in Telford. Please find below the requirements and responsibilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, H,S&E Policies, procedures & Minimum Safety Standards, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.
Manage subcontractors, service providers & operatives to construct the works safely.
Review, produce & monitor Task Control Sheets & method statements for all works
Ensure site inductions are carried out
Puts safety first and instills this in subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure that works are coordinated to ensure suitable safe access and segregation is maintained.
Ensures that suitable welfare is in place and maintained.
Make efficient use of standard IT packages to efficiently manage own time.
Use specialist software to assist in project delivery for example CAD, 4Projects, COINS for ordering plant etc.
Able to understand new and innovative technologies.
Seeks opportunities to improve on provided information for commercial or practical benefit.
Identifies and defines problems that require a solution.
Engages with designers / subcontractors to develop conceptual and detailed solutions to problems.

CSCS:

Must have: Black Managers NVQ level 6


Qualifications:

Must have: SMSTS/First Aid

Professional Membership:

Not Essential: MCIOB

Relevant Experience:

Desired: Housing/Apartments/ H/A/ Design and Build, project Value up to 10 million.
