I am currently seeking a Project Engineer to work with a Main Contractor on a P-Way / Tracks project. Projects will be based around Kent, Sussex and Wessex area. This role will fall inside IR35. Elements of flexible working would be available for this role as the project develops.
Within this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Site Documentation / Paperwork (ITP, WPP, RAMs, ITPs)
- Ensuring Health & Safety is followed in all aspects of work and files are up to date
- Lead, direct and monitor the on-site engineering
- Attending technical liaison meeting
- Ensure the technical assurance and compliance of track works to standards
- Formulate stressing plans, locations, stressing considerations
The ideal candidate would have as follows:
- BSc, HNC, HND or vocational equivalent within Construction / Engineering or related discipline.
- Previously experience working as a Section Engineer, Sub Agent, Senior Engineer, Project Engineer or similar
- Previous experience or knowledge within track / pway design and construction
- CSCS Card, PTS, COSS
- Couple of references
