 The Client 
 
 A well established, leading client who specialise in a range of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, ports, hubs, shipping lines, terminals etc. 
 
 Based Liverpool 
 
 Role Purpose: To provide expert knowledge on commercial construction matters both pre and post contract encompassing contract administration, management and procurement. 
 
 This role will include the following responsibilities 
 
 ◼ Conduct and process monthly valuations 
 
 ◼ NEC Contract Administration and Project Management support 
 
 ◼ Support procurement functions including procurement model selection and bid analysis 
 
 ◼ Manage and assess claims for additional costs and time including programme impact assessment 
 
 ◼ Assist with Group Risk Management and analysis 
 
 ◼ Assist in various forums for dispute resolution 
 
 ◼ Assist with Group budget & forecast management 
 
 ◼ Provide cost estimates 
 
 ◼ Assist with development of project and programme feasibility plans 
 
 Applicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience: 
 
 ◼ Experience working for an employer or main contractor upon large and complex construction projects 
 
 ◼ Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the NEC3 form of contract ESSENTIAL 
 
 ◼Experience delivering large civil engineering and industrial projects 
 
 ◼ Experience dealing with numerous construction packages and contractors at any one time 
 
 ◼ Demonstrate an appropriate awareness of relevant Construction Health and Safety regulations and best practice for a supervisory position 
 
 ◼ An undergraduate degree accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction subject 
 
 ◼ Experience using SAP software would be a benefit 
 
 ◼ Will ideally hold a current CSCS card 
 
 ◼ A full valid Driving License 
 
 Salary and package 
 
 ◼ £40,000 - £50,000 
 
 ◼ Car allowance dependant on experience 
 
 ◼ Pension
