Senior Engineer – Fish Pass and Hydraulic Structures

Anderselite are currently seeking a Principle Maritime Engineer on behalf of a Global Construction Consultancy to join their Hydraulic Structures team. You will be joining delivering in projects such as with Environment Agency and Thames Water on long-term frameworks. You will also be part of the sustainable river management team.

This role will be Inside IR35 and we are looking to pay the market rate. There are also potential of permanent roles further down the line for a suitable candidate.

Requirements
• Experience in fish pass design with the ability to oversee the work of others and achieve right-first-time results.
• Strong technical experience in hydraulic and /or structural design as applied to the management, knowledge of relevant codes, standards and guidance documents.
• Experienced in leading the delivery of successful projects.
• Willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities
• Lead tasks and projects from inception to handover.
• Overseeing design activities for key local clients.
• Generating successful proposals that meet client needs
• Delivering business development targets.
• Mentor a junior team
