Principal Designer

My client is looking to appoint a Principal Designer to join their team in the Yorkshire office.
As a Principal Designer, you will be working on exceptionally varied and diverse construction projects as part of a team on projects which include large industrial, residential and commercial schemes etc.

Key responsibilities
• Support in undertaking site inspections and monitoring visits to determine health & safety compliance
• Attend project, design and other meetings
• Assist the Client in providing the Pre Construction Information
• Work to deadlines to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget
• Support senior team members as required
• Assist in maintaining the business 18001 accreditation

Experience and qualifications
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar
• GradIOSH or working towards
• Advantage to have large multistorey residential build experience but not essential
• An understanding of the construction design process
