Planning Manager required for a leading Construction company based in the North West. They're experts in building Highrise developments. Due to further project wins they now require the highest calibre Planning Manager to head their planning function in the North West.
The successful candidate for this role will:
Have a demonstrable background in construction planning as a senior planner or at planning manager level
Have experience of managing projects from a planning perspective
Have experience of forms of contract in planning
Have experience of working on projects £100m+ in value
Have previous tender experience
Be competent in using planning software particularly ASTA,Ms project
Have a site management/PM or similar background.
The Role:
Lead a team of senior planners and planners working on a prestigious construction projects.
Establish effective planning processes
Assist the project team, bid team, commercial, estimating team, procurement, risk, quality, engineering, temporary works as necessary
Establish plans and document scope
Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements
Mentor Junior Team members
