Our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor in the civil engineering industry, specializing in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects is currently seeking a talented Rail Planner with Civil Engineering experience to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Rail Planner, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of a significant infrastructure project involving bridge works, road works, and heavy civil engineering within the rail sector. You will work collaboratively with a team of experts to ensure the successful delivery of this complex project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive rail planning strategies and schedules for the project, taking into consideration bridge works, road works, and heavy civil engineering activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives and ensure seamless integration of rail-related activities.
• Utilize your civil engineering expertise to assess and address technical challenges related to rail infrastructure within the project scope.
• Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in rail planning within the civil engineering sector, particularly on projects involving bridge works, road works, and heavy civil engineering.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration within the project team.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
