Planner (Highways) required for a leading Main and Principal contractor operating across the infrastructure sector. They have a strong heritage and well developed client base with local authorities and private clients across the UK. They are now looking for a high calibre Highways Planner to work on highways project throughout the Midlands.

The Role
To produce and develop programmes and tenders for a highways projects
To develop, manage and maintain project schedules and associated breakdown structures
Develop the process and framework used to define, maintain, report and control schedules, identify interfaces, promote and monitor milestone definition sheets, establish baselines, code and resource schedules
Work in accordance with project teams and cost managers to integrate time and cost through cost and resource loaded schedules.
Provide presentations and lead collaborative planning sessions.
Carry out critical path and earned value analysis producing reports where appropriate.

About You
Experience of planning major on highways projects
Ideally hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
Have an In-depth and broad understanding of planning as applied in major civil environments, ideally Highways.
Detailed experience of Critical Path Analysis.
Expert knowledge of P6 and BlueBeam is useful.
