Planner required for a leading national consultancy. They’re experts in infrastructure projects working in sectors that include Nuclear, Rail, Civils, Construction and Renewable Energy. Due to further project wins they now require the highest calibre planner to work out of their Manchester office.

The Role:
Lead a team of senior planners and planners working on a prestigious infrastructure projects
Establish effective control processes
Assist the project team, bid team, commercial, estimating team, procurement, risk, quality, engineering, temporary works as necessary
Establish the plan and document scope, develop project schedules and or preliminary cost estimates
Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements.

About You
Ideally you will
Have a demonstrable background in civil engineering planning
Have previous management experience
Have a strong understand of construction methods
Be competent in using P6
Have a site management background.
