MECHANICAL SITE MANAGER - 12 MONTHS - START JUNE 1st - CITY OF LONDON - £250 per day

AndersElite require an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to help support a large commercial CAT A fit out project in the City of London, on behalf of one of our clients, a leading building services contractor.

Pay rates are £250 per day, working generally 7.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical contracting background and ideally experience of commercial new build and refurb projects of up to £5m in M&E services value.

This is a freelance / contract position available immediately and will last for approximately 12 months until completion of the project in Spring 2022.

Reporting into the senior mechanical management team based on site, the Mechanical Site Manager will be in charge of managing selected floors of a new office block, driving sub contract labour and ensuring programme deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality installation levels.

General duties and skills required as follows:

* Good people management and motivational skills
* Control of mechanical labour
* The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
* The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads
* Attend project meetings with clients
* Fully responsibility in assuring the installation is of a high standard
* Tool box talks
* Risk assessments and method statements
* Fully understand Design Drawings
* Must be IT literate

Candidates must have the SMSTS (Site Manager's Safety Training Scheme) and / or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) and ideally a CSCS trade card plus 1st Aid at work qualification in order to apply.

It is expected that a site based interview will take place w/c 24th May with a view to being able to start work on 1st June.
