Anderselite are recruiting a Mobile M&E Maintenance Technician for Schools. Working Monday - Friday 37 Hours per week.

Your Responsibilities
• Maintain mechanical & electrical plant and equipment [including motor control panels and local distribution boards].
• Assist in the provision of the associated estates services within the project facilities. Including but not limited to general plumbing work, statutory testing of emergency lighting, PAT, other general mechanical and electrical service tasks.
• Day to day responsibility for the BMS front face – system checks, scheduling, set point adjustments, etc.
• Identify spare parts to carry out repairs and order through appropriate management channels
• Ensuring all planned & reactive tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.
• Carrying out the preparation of Risk Assessments and producing Method Statements for works within the sites.
• Liaison and supervision of subcontractors where required.
• Monitor stock for regular PPM tasks.
• Pricing up small work jobs + managing minor small works.
• Assist in the fulfilment of health and safety responsibilities within the project facilities.
• Provide general support duties to site caretakers, catering, and cleaning staff.
• Assist Deputy Facility Manager with annual condition surveys.
• Ensure the correct operation of hot & cold-water plant, heating plant and lighting systems.
• Carry out and supply meter readings for utility consumption when required.
• Be available for out of hours major emergencies.
• Other reasonable requests when required.

Who are we looking for?
• Experience as a mobile technician working in a busy service environment, with the relevant electrical qualifications.
• Experience in maintenance and fault finding on a variety of equipment including, Electric trace heating, electric water heaters, ventilation systems, Pumps – pressurization, circulation, water booster systems, switchgear, data points/cables, UPS, small power and lighting.
• Ability to read, understand and diagnose faults utilising as-installed drawings, as installed schedules, contract specifications and equipment.
• Full driving licence.
• Reliable.
• Commercial plumbing experience would be advantageous.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to use initiative in day-to-day duties.
