A leading main contractor working within the the Healthcare sector is looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager from a Mechanical or Electrical bias required to join the team ahead of an unprecedented secured order book for 2023 and beyond.


You will be working for a main contractor, being based in the North West you will be overseeing a large project in the Greater Manchester area. Any recent experience of working on large healthcare projects would be a distinct advantage.

It is essential that you have a strong M&e background, and have recent M&E and building services experience, ideally working with a large main contractor previously, within the Healthcare sector ideally.

Extensive background managing Mechanical & Electrical packages in construction
• Strong knowledge of the M&E process from tendering to onsite delivery
• Thorough understanding of current building regulations and the UK construction market in general
• Strong design and commercial awareness with the ability to liaise efficiently with those teams and the client if necessary
Reviewing installation plans and specifications to ensure that they deliver what the building/client needs.
Advising the design team on the co-ordination of services within the overall building design.
Reviewing prices for services work.
Overseeing Testing and checking installations after commissioning
Overseeing project health and safety where required.
Delivering progress reports to Stakeholders.
The ideal M&E Site Manager MUST have a CSCS card and be professionally accredited.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience at Site Manager level, a proven reputation within the industry and a structured career history.
