We are currently seeking Landscape Architects to join and support the growth of our landscape architecture team, based across the UK. As a member of one of the UK’s largest and most diverse landscape practices, you will take a lead on a range of types and sizes of projects, including major infrastructure, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement schemes.
We will consider applicants with a wide range of experience and a keen and demonstrable interest in landscape design across a range of sectors and markets. The landscape architecture discipline within our Buildings and Places business and numbers over 70 staff across the UK and Ireland. Our offices supports a range of sectors, such as healthcare, education and transportation, residential and mixed use, urban regeneration, green infrastructure, transportation, energy, flood alleviation, historic landscapes and neighbourhood planning. Major clients include the Homes England, the Environment Agency, National Highways, the University of Cambridge and the Imperial War Museum. The business comprises a group of specialists in architecture, interior design, specification writing and visualisations.

The role is flexible on location and we offer flexible working as standard. We offer a flexible package of benefits and we would be interested to hear from applicants seeking either a part time or full time role.  Ideally you will have;

CMLI with up to two years post Chartership experience. Candidates within the last quarter of P2C with approval to take the LI exam will also be considered.
Experience in producing landscape assessment reports
Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect to landscape architecture.
Technically competent in preparing landscape and/or townscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals and evidence-base documents to support development plans and policies in accordance with best practice.
An understanding of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management and ability to manage own budgets.
The successful candidate will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
Experience of some or all of the following would also be very useful: ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS or ProjectWise.

The role requires someone with a degree in Landscape Architecture, who will ideally be recently chartered or already on the LI pathway to chartership.
