A well-established contractor working within the social housing sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Joiner to join their responsive repairs team. This is a permanent position, with a company van provided for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out responsive repairs in tenanted and void social housing properties.
- Perform a variety of joinery tasks including door hanging, kitchen repairs, skirting, architraves, and general carpentry.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, supervisors, and other trades.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in social housing or domestic repairs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
