Our client: Is a leading contractor in social housing committed to delivering high-quality housing services to our residents. They are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our responsive repairs team. This role is crucial in ensuring their properties are well-maintained and safe for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work on social housing properties.
  • Perform joinery tasks such as fitting doors, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures.
  • Diagnose and repair issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to residents.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians) to complete multi-trade tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably in a social housing or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials.
  • Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks and basic knowledge of other trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
