I am currently working with a multidisciplinary consulting firm noted for their award-winning work in the construction field and the built enviroment, covering the expansive sectors of civil, structural, geotechnical, and geo-environmental engineering. They are currently looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join their Sheffield office on a range of projects, including housing, commercial, and industrial.

You will be more than just a number there my client knows that to grow their company, they must first nurture their employees and endeavour to give each of their engineers vast project exposure. You will be given the chance to work with a variety of clients, contractors, architects, and engineers, broadening your industry knowledge and practical experience. Knowledge of road (Section 38 & 287) and drainage (Section 104) infrastructure design will be greatly advantagious in this application. 


You will be responsible for:
• Creating designs and drawings for external ground levels, sewage networks, and surface water in the residential and commercial sectors.
• Creating designs for highways that incorporate both vertical and horizontal geometry.
• Experience designing roads and drainage systems (S278, S38, S104)
• Utilising specialised software, such as AutoCAD, PDS, and MicroDrainage/Windes, to design drainage and infrastructure
• Putting together technical schedules
• Representing Eastwood at meetings with the customer, suppliers, and other professionals
• Making sure project work is completed on time and within budget Making sure the right service/design decisions are made.
• Discussing pertinent service/design choices with directors to ensure that the companys and the clients goals are met.
• Coordinating your efforts with those of the other project team members and seeing to it that everyone who needs to know is informed about client issues.

Your qualifications and skillset will include:
• At least 5 years infrastructure experience.
• Embracing CPD, self-learning and personal development.
• Chartered or actively working towards Chartered Engineering status with ICE.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in residential infrastructure design.
• Drainage and highways design to Adoptable standards (S38, S278 and S104, and S206).
