Role: Infrastructure Engineer

This is a role for Design Engineers with Infrastructure experiance in the Construction Industry.
I currently have the pleasure of working with a client who has over 40 years of experience in the design and construction industry. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with experience in the highway, drainage and residential sectors to join their Leeds office of first-class consultants.
You will be designing across all market sectors, including both commercial and public projects, along with the refurbishment and restoration of existing and listed properties, including co-ordinating the work of graduates and technicians. Knowledge of road infrastructure (Section 38 &278) and drainage (Section 104) will be a substantial advantage. You will be responsible for:
• Preparing plans and drawings for projects from concept through to construction.
• Producing design drawings for technical approvals and construction.
• Ability to carry out infrastructure design on AutoCAD and Civils 3D software.
• Serving as a mentor and assigning and monitoring duties to less experienced team members.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, and experts from different fields regarding all project-related issues.
Your qualifications and skillset will include:
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, WinDes MicroDrainage and drainage design is essential.
• Software experience in PDS or AutoCAD Civils 3D, and earthworks and highway design experience is desirable.
• Experience within a consultancy firm.
• Experience and ability to deliver projects from conception through to completion.
• Experience leading a team and managing engineers within the civil engineering team.
• A valid Driving Licence
