Role title - Architectural Technician/ Designer - Technical Team within a National Housebuilder
Reports to Architectural Design Manager

Purpose:
To prepare Construction packages, details and specifications whilst working alongside external consultants and suppliers to complete a full tender package for the Commercial, Construction, Sales and Marketing teams to work with.

Main Accountabilities:
Prepare detailed drawing packages for tender and Construction purposes
Attend Project team meetings and liaise with site based staff
Liaise directly with NHBC Building Control Department
Visit sites to assess our packages and identify improvements/feedback
Ensure Consultants are working to deadlines in line with company standards
Prepare marketing material and specification to aid the project team
Keep up to date with legislation, CDM responsibilities and building regulations
Assist in the upkeep of Standard House Type range, specifications and details
Continually develop packages and investigate new products/ build methods within the Industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Passion for Architectural technology
HNC/HND or Architectural related degree essential
Exceptional administrative and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise a busy workload
Assertive self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner
Creative Flair and innovative approach to development layouts
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture skills (REVIT would be of benefit)
Good IT skills
A good foundation of building regulations knowledge
