Are you an experienced and ambitious Hire Desk Controller/Plant Hire administrator?
Would you like to join one of the UK’s largest piling companies, with rapid expansion planned well into the new year?
We are now looking for a keen individual to join the busy Hire Desk team at our clients Head Office in Sudbury.
You must have piling/plant hire experience, ideally with some knowledge of fleet & logistics management. Additionally, you will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A good standard of numeracy
• PC Literate / Competent use of Microsoft Office packages
• The ability to listen and respond accurately to customer enquiries.
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a clear telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines
• A confident and flexible attitude
The role will encompass the assistance in the day-to-day running of the Rental Office, logistics of sales, rental fleet and on occasion transport fleet dispatch. You will be taking customer orders, preparing quotations and processing paperwork.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 07:30 to 17:00
