Highways Technician - Isle of Wight – £28,000-£36,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highways Technician to work with and advise local authorities, the public, developers and planners to provide technical pre-application highway advise. As a vital member of the team, you will work as part of a professional, responsive and dedicated team which undertakes a wide range of tasks across the highway development control function.

Whilst a relevant degree qualification is desirable, the ideal candidate will need to have:

• Highways or Planning Development Control experience
• Highway Design experience
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel & AutoCAD
• A strong work ethic and able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Full UK driving licence
