Health and Safety Manager - construction/civil engineering/facilities - Stockport, £40-£45k+expenses and pension
Job role is to promote a safety first culture across the whole business that continually improves performance and ensures that all legal, compliance and other standards are met. The role will support all our accredited standards by contributing to the implementation, development and operation of performance management and quality management systems.
You will manage, lead and develop a team of SHEQ Advisors in all areas of SHEQ management. You will have particular responsibilities for being the key contact for the resolution of day-to-day issues. You will drive up standards across the business and support the development of our safety, environmental and quality strategies
You will be :-
- NEBOSH qualified as a minumum, with experience maanging safety professionals across construction and/or facilities contracts
- Familiar with ISO 9001/14001/18001 and their implementation
- A team player who can be 'hands-on' as well as support the head of department in setting policy and strategy.
