Health and Safety Advisor - Aylesbury - £45k-£55k+package - construction/civil engineering major projects.

o Provide advice and guidance on SHE legal requirements and industry best practice.
o Ensure business complies with correct reporting procedures and reacts with timely interventions.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and client requirements.
o Provide impetus to the continual improvement of people skills and processes.

Experience & Knowledge:
o Extensive practical knowledge of SHE legislation.
o Experience of application of SHE processes and practices in remote site works.
o Working with SHE counterparts in client and certification bodies.
o Training and instruction.
o Contacts with regulatory authorities.
o Civil engineering works methodology.
o Worked with a tier 1 contracting group, ideally on roads and highways projects.
o Knowledge of broader construction eg groundworks, earthworks, drainage, structures.

Qualifications:
o Degree or equivalent level academic qualification
o NEBOSH Diploma (desired)
o NEBOSH General or Construction cert (essential)
