Duration: Circa 3 months
Working Hours: Part Time, approximately 24 hours per week
Start Date: June/July 2024
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Our client, a leader in hospital facilities management, is seeking a highly organised and methodical General Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis for a contract role of approximately 3 months. This position may be extended based on performance and business needs.

In this role, you will be based at Kings Mill Hospital in Newark and provide support to the operational team at three hospitals: Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Community Hospital, and Newark General Hospital. Your responsibilities will include general administrative duties, as well as providing full reception services to visitors at Kings Mill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process relevant requests from the Reception email inbox.
  • Greet and sign in visitors in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases and spreadsheets related to the above activities.
  • Update in-house systems with task interruption information and produce reports as requested.
  • Conduct weekly stock checks and order office supplies as needed.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, answering phones, and archiving.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency when raising and closing tasks on in-house systems.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure completion of tasks within company SLAs.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role within a hospital, building services, or facilities management environment.
  • Basic administration skills, including customer care, communication, organisation, and filing.
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Office 365.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work well within a fluid team environment.
