Contracts Manager – Passive Fire Protection
Remuneration: Competitive and relative to experience (includes full package)
Type: Permanent (Monday to Friday)
Location: Kent & London Areas

A national contractor with over 30 branches nationwide is seeking to appoint a Contracts Manager (fire protection bias) to join permanently and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operatives. You will oversee resource allocation, project delivery strategies, and compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.

This firm delivers exceptional fire protection solutions to their clients. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the site-based activities and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all site operatives, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
• Maintain good client relationships and promote the companys image within the business community.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies to meet agreed outcomes.
• Ensure adequate controls and resources are in place for projects.
• Resolve site non-conformities with minimal disruption.
• Attend tender handover meetings and oversee construction matters.
• Conduct on-site inspections and surveys prior to project commencement.
• Coordinate fire protection works with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain proper record-keeping of site progress and documentation.
What we require from you?
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a contracts manager
• Ability to understand technical details.
• Previous experience with commercial procedures is welcomed.
• Proficiency with pertinent building codes, regulations, and industry standards concerning fire safety and passive fire protection.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle concurrent projects effectively.
• Robust communication and interpersonal abilities to foster productive collaboration with clients and project stakeholders.
