Fabricator Welder - Droitwich, Worcestershire - Permanent - circa £30,000 plus company benefits

AndersElite require a permanent Fabricator Welder for an established off-site building services contractor based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.

This position has arisen due to an increase in workload and is available immediately (May-June 2021 onwards).

The work location is set in a large industrial unit in Droitwich, Worcestershire, for a large worldwide business specialising in the manufacturing of off-site building services solutions to be used on large construction projects.

In order to apply, you should be an experienced welder with the ability to also do fabrication. Welding processes used will generally be MIG, however you should also have experience in TIG and MMA, using carbon steel and some stainless as a pipe welder. It is essential you can interpret and work to production drawings. Work is carried out to Class 1 standard and welding tests will be carried out.

A CSCS card would be an advantage as sometimes the work will involve fitting on site following on from the activities in the workshop.

Payment is based on an hourly rate as per current BESA Shop Employed regulations rate, expected to be £15.16 per hour. It would be
expected that before any overtime is considered, basic yearly earnings would be circa £30,000.

In addition, you will receive a company pension, holiday allowance, sick pay allowance and any training courses required to further your technical development.

The working week will be minimum 38hrs, generally 7.30 - 16.00 Monday to Friday but overtime hours will be available during busier periods which is very regular, allowing employees to supplement their usual earnings.
