Anderselite are seeking 2 detail-oriented and innovative Architectural Technologists or technical Architects to join our design team. The ideal candidates will have a strong and proven understanding of architectural design, building technology, and construction methods, and will play a key role in producing technical drawings, NBS Chorus specifications, and documentation for a wide range of projects.  One position will have a minimum of 2/3 years experience and the other a minimum of 5-10 years experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit)
  • Ensure that designs comply with building regulations, codes, and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants/clients to deliver projects from concept to completion.
  • Assist in site works answering construction queries and reporting throughout the construction phase.
  • Coordinate in BIM environment with consultants and suppliers to ensure integration of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the design, including use of clash detection software
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Resolve technical and design challenges with creative, practical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and construction technologies.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in architectural technology or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Revit software, with AutoCAD and other Cad software knowledge as benefit and Microsoft Office Suite generally
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and statutes
  • Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Membership in CIAT (or working toward membership) is an benefit but not mandated
